I'm sorry for your loss, Alan. May you find solace in your memories.
Hi Diane,It's not my loss, but one of the janitors at Hull Central Library lost his sister, at a young age, to illness. The janitor is a regular contributor to the Hull Global Renga, and I've been told he especially came in off compassionate to write a verse. His verse included a lost jigsaw piece which I've honoured as part of my mark of respect to his loss.I've been told he will be really pleased I've had a line from his verse included in my haiku, that's been published in a Japanese newspaper. He started off writing heavy rhyming verses and then suddenly he started writing really moving 'renku' verses out of the blue.all my best,AlanHull Global Renga explanation weblink.
