it's just a common wood that I've seen from the highway. As there is no more leaves, nothing hides balls of mistletoe, and each tree had its one : a curious vision !
What wonderful poetry you say in your 'plain prose'. ;-)

Maybe something like this, as a tanka?
just a common wood from the highway I see no more leaves yet each tree has its own ball of mistletoe

and a majestic skyline, I'm sure. Lovely.
Hi Damien,
Is bois de chênes a park or common land woods?
It literally means wood oaks, or 'Wood Oaks' which is a nature reserve or even a school.
I know what you mean about a ball of mistletoe, as I can see a huge ball of mistle when I wait for a train at Bradford on Avon.
I hadn't realised they could be balls as well as 'dangling'. ;-)
How many balls of mistletoe were there?
Do you have larches with mistletoe where you live as well?
Alan
