Beautiful- the flower, the butterfly (moth?) and the haiku!

Thank you, Vida! I believe it was a green-veined white butterfly (Pieris napi). Quite common, but I have never seen them this late. (We had snow couple of days later.)

What a wonderful example of haiku and artwork making a haiga.

I love the natural history notes as well, a real extra bonus.

Thank you!

And the flower is Knautia arvensis. ;-)

Wow, I love it. It's not often that there's so much accurate Natural History notes with a haiku, and a haiga.

I think you should consider working on a collection that combines all of this. I'd be a customer, and so would my wife who's a wildlife documentary filmmaker, and haiku poet. ;-)

Thanks, Mome! Those two look good together:)
A collection for kids? So they can associate the facts with a picture and a lovely haiku? :)

What a fantastic idea Vida!

Möme, I think this could be a project, perhaps for Christmas 2011?
