'Jazz Record Requests'  -
trumpets of nasturtium
sway in the garden

crows  -
autumn's door closing
on rusty hinges

squirrel
emptying the bird-table
planting a peanut farm

autumn leaves
on the pavement
curled and scratching

Indian summer  -
dogs leaping
at falling leaves

a leaf falls  -
shivering circles
on the stream

autumn morning  -
rain dancing
on the puddles

snow -
the trees
all one blossom

first snow -
the silver birches
dressed in new coats

through naked trees
the old cow stares:
antlered

autumn wind -
a whistling boy
through the fallen leaves

armistice day -
the red maple
lays its wreath

dusk
naked trees
autumn calligraphy

in the street's puddles
houses tremble
...a prayer for Haiti

chestnut shell -
the dented bed
where the nut lay

leaves fall
onto the pool
pianissimo

strolling out
with their new baby -
fluffy clouds drifting

Christmas trees
decorated - red
apples hang in the orchard

through the trees
the wind
telling an old story

swans -
two old ladies
gossip
