time quickly
drifts away
early morn
grey clouds
like hand-me-down jumpers
sullen sparrows
conference pears
fall unripened to the ground
little red apples
chill in the air
fall creeping over the world
sparrows
feast from the bird table
blue tits wait
moonlit night

It is autumn,
Even from rain drops
Cold blows
Only early in the morning
Can see as in dew drops
The sun plays
In rustle of leaves
it is not possible to hear
That them disturbs

warmth of reiki hands
autumn sun crosses
the long eagle feather
popping plastic
a car veers to the gutter
drifts of tired leaves
cold bright autumn day -
the last leaves float to the ground
like lost promises
old stones, weathered smooth
a deep bed of pine needles
guarded by angels

leaves shiver, cling
against the thinly-veiled moon
you are gone
